Holiday Park Maps FAQ
How much does the service cost?
The cost of designing a park map, sitemap, holiday park map, or caravan site map varies based on the complexity and time required for the project. For instance, if you have a small park with just five pitches and need a simple design for a flyer, the cost will be quite minimal. However, if your park has 150 pitches with complex infrastructure like walks, pods, statics, play areas, and a network of roads and walkways, the price would naturally be higher. Rest assured, we provide a fixed price quotation after assessing your site online and estimating the design time. With over 450 park maps in our portfolio, we have a keen sense for how long projects take. Simply send us your location, and we'll respond with a quotation within a couple of hours.
How long does it take?
The timeline can also vary depending on the level of detail needed for the map. Typically, we take 3-4 days to deliver the first proof. However, in some cases, we may be able to provide it as quickly as the next day, or it might take up to a week. We'll provide an estimated timeline along with your quotation.
Do I need to call up to speak with someone?
While we always enjoy connecting with potential clients, we understand that you may be too busy for a phone call - as are we, often. Therefore, we're more than happy to handle everything via email, which often proves to be the most efficient method. Whether you prefer to call or email, we're here to answer all your questions.
If I want to order, what do I need to do?
First, you'll need to know the cost. Once you've received our email with the quoted price, simply reply with "Please go ahead" and include any information that might be helpful for the design process. That's all we need to get started!
What information is considered useful?
Any resources you have that could inform the design process would be helpful. This might include hand-drawn maps, professional site plans, plans from your booking system, or drone photos. We can often glean valuable insights from the most unlikely sources, so don't hesitate to share anything you think might be useful.
What if I have changes to my existing sketches?
It's usually most efficient to make any changes once we've designed a first proof, rather than making alterations to your original sketches. This way, you can provide feedback directly on the design we've created for you.
I’ve received a proof and there are lots of changes I need to make!
No need to worry - it's very rare to get a map perfect on the first try. When you receive our proof, we encourage you to print it out, make annotations for any changes you'd like to see,```html and then take a photo of it to send back to us. This is the most effective way to communicate your desired changes. Along with your annotated map, please send us a brief email with any additional explanations. We'll implement your changes and send you another proof within a few hours.
Can I ring up and give the changes over the phone?
We're a small team juggling many projects, and unfortunately, we don't have the capacity to take amendment requests over the phone. Email is the most efficient way for us to handle amendments, and this approach helps ensure nothing gets lost in translation. We appreciate your understanding!
What if I only need a minor adjustment, like rotating a caravan?
Even if you perceive a change to be simple, it's still best to email us. For example, if you need to rotate caravan 22 through 90 degrees and move the fire point at pitch 44 to just below pitch 12, an email with these instructions will allow us to amend the map quickly and get it back to you within minutes. Phone calls for these changes may result in longer turnarounds.
I’ve received a second proof but there are still things I want to change?
That's perfectly normal. Typically, the first proof involves the most amendments, with fewer needed for the second proof and so on. We're committed to working with you through this iterative process until the map is exactly what you want.
The map is finished and I want to use it on my website right away.
Great! To expedite this process, let us know in an email that you're ready to proceed. We'll promptly prepare an invoice and send it over, along with links for payment via credit/debit card, bank transfer, or PayPal. Once payment is received, we'll create a digital file bundle for you to download. Payments via card or PayPal are processed instantly, while bank transfers may take a bit longer.
I only do a payment run at the end of the month.
That's not a problem at all. Just send us a remittance advice once the payment has been made. We'll confirm receipt of payment and send you the finished artwork right away.
I’d like to have the map printed or need some printed signs for the park.
Printing services can be discussed once the map design is finalized. After that, we can explore your printing needs. Please visit our printing pricing page for more information, and don't hesitate to reach out via email for a customized quote.
Why is the print price different from the design price?
Not everyone requires printing services, and the needs of those who do can vary greatly. Additionally, digital maps are subject to VAT, while printed maps are VAT exempt. Keeping the pricing separate simplifies the process for everyone.
Can I get a discount?
We strive to provide transparent and fair pricing, which includes a fixed up-front price regardless of how many proofs are needed. We don't offer discounts because we believe our pricing reflects the quality and value of our work. We hope you understand and appreciate our commitment to fair and honest pricing.
